Antoinette (Toni) Rubino passed away on Friday morning, January 26, 2018 at Paoli Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of Daniel Rocco Rubino. She was born on May 21, 1924 in Madison, Maine to Paul DellaPelle and Rosina Dinorscia DellaPelle. They later moved to Kennett Square, PA where she attended Kennett Consolidated School. During the war years she worked as a switch board operator and at the War Ration Board. She met her husband Daniel at a dance at St. Anthony’s in Downingtown in 1947. They were married May 15, 1948 at St. Patrick’s Church in Kennett. They had four children, Daniel, Paul, Rosanne and Diane. Her husband died in 2009. She had 9 grandchildren, Justin, Natalie, Carmen from Daniel and Janet Rubino, Brian, Daniel, and Jaime from Paul and Mary Jane Rubino, Natasha Trepel from Rosanne and Scott Trepel and Owen and Zoe Davies from Diane and John Davies. She has 8 great grandchildren, Derek Rubino from Justin Rubino and Katrina Walton, Trillium and Mason Bentley from Thomas and Natalie Bentley, Luke and Lola Rubino from Brian and Meg Rubino and River, Story, and Clover Shehwen from William and Jaime Shehwen. Funeral services will be private. She will be interred in Frazer at Philadelphia Memorial Park next to her husband.
